Honor Roll Mural

The mural is about the history and people of the south end. The site was chosen because of its historical significance, the original site of the Cotton Club. It was known for some of the players that visited and played there, Dizzy Gillespie and Billy Holiday. From the roots of the American experience in the early 1900’s, the mural depicts a collage of historical figures, life long residents and the current day.
